This page is an outline for all the people/teams who work directly with me.

****My goal is to provide a ton of high leverage to the work you do while also growing you as a professional and leader.
My role as cofounder/chairman across many companies simultaneously is unique (and fun for me). But it does mean my time is uniquely spread across a variety of efforts.
I hate to be a bottleneck or frustrating partner to anyone I work with and I'm writing this to avoid that and show up 10/10.

- Marketing expertise - I've spent nearly 15 years in and around digital marketing and in some cases "writing the book" on how its done for very well known companies. I have seen most issues across multiple dimensions (e.g., spend, politics, talent) and can help problem solve, ideate or find the right person to do so.
- Sales/BD - I enjoy selling, planning around sales, building relationships, etc. This is especially true for new relationships or large/meaningful ones.
- Entrepreneurial problem solving - I am in my element when there is a tough challenge in front of us and we are looking for an “impossible” solution.
- Persuasive Communication - I did lots of public speaking as a teenager and love storytelling. I love doing this when recruiting, selling to clients, finding partners/vendors or talking to anyone in my orbit.

*A Special Note On Feedback & Decision Making:
I share a lot of input, feedback, and ideas. At times, you may feel confused or frustrated even receiving feedback from me. I have strong POVs, am passionate, and hold a high bar. I care deeply about your success, and the success of the company.
Ultimately, I recognize the CEO of each biz (and teammates on other company initiatives) will be the final decision maker (but the CEO will be unlikely to have a misaligned decision).
One framework that can support us in collaborating on projects, upfront, is RACI Methodology. Consider me "Consulted” or “Informed” by default, unless otherwise established.
When in doubt, feel free to blow the whistle and say “where are you right now? Are you consulted or accountable?”.*

- These days, I prefer to show up as coach and strategist to CEOs. My time is now optimized around areas where I can deliver the highest impact, rather than being embedded in the day-to-day.
- I will meet with team members at the request of CEOs, but tend to stay away from being “in” the business.
- That means I'd much rather meet "internally" to coach you than externally with a client. This is especially true for "delivery" related work or renewals/upsells vs "new business."
- Ideally, I can get the doors open for new business or talent and then hand it to the team to take forward in a high quality way (and can play coach)
- I can also be involved in larger, longer term things that have a big impact on strategy/orientation for the business. I want

- Budget
- I can get a prototype or POC launched/sold quickly!
- Other areas I’m able to act as coach or strategist (tell me which one you need):
- Negotiations (Customers or Talent)
- Relationship Dynamics (Team or Customers)
- Feedback/Playing Red Team on deliverables, materials, strategy, plan, etc.
My Calendar:
- My calendar is perpetually 1.5-2x overbooked so I am trying my best to triage to the most important things in any given day or week, your input on why something matters/is urgent/important is SUPER helpful for me.
- Please keep me on time requests with patricia, my EA, over slack, and do your best to give context/deadlines/importance
- I no longer follow a rigid “day-per-company” setup, but there are still some calendar rhythms and preferences to be aware of:
- Wednesdays are still typically held for BG-related work.
- Thursdays are most likely reserved for CEO 1:1s and AI-related deep work or calls.
- Fridays are often used for connection calls, intros, and light-weight/relationship-building conversations.
- If you’re requesting time, aligning with these themes is helpful—but not mandatory.
- Booking time earlier is easier. 3-4 days ahead should work, a week is better. If you need me within 24 hours, please text me
- The process for booking is as follows:
- Non-Urgent: If you need a meeting, please request it from Patricia (how much time you need and topic). She will book it on the next available biz day.
- Urgent: If you need something before the next available biz day, you can message me/patricia with the request and we will get it booked in my flex time.
Operating Principles
- STOP: I'm no longer involved in:
- Direct client interactions (post BD/Sales) - unless Adriane (GA), Kasey (Aux) requests it
- Internal team initiatives, meetings, or working groups - unless explicitly invited
- Standing meetings (Outside of those listed below in CONTINUE)
- Granular, in-progress feedback unless asked
- Client-specific Slack channels or project chats
- CONTINUE: I'm still involved in
- Ad-hoc available when Adriane/Kasey/Andrew flags something important.
- Actively working with Adriane/Kasey/Andrew business strategy & growth - CEOs weekly 1:1s
- Monthly financial reviews & quarterly planning + budgeting
- A resource for intros, high-level POVs, or anything you're unsure about - just ask!
- High-leverage Interactions w/ me
